Dinosaur Isle
Location: Sandown, Isle of Wight, UK
Dinosaur Isle is a purpose-built museum that displays over 1,000 fossils and includes many interactive exhibits. The museum itself is constructed in the shape of a gaint pterodactyl, and among other exhibits includes a reconstruction of a Megalosaurus (the first dinosaur to be scientifically described) skeleton, and a reconstruction of Polacanthus foxii (an armored dinosaur related to Ankylosaurus) as it might have looked 123 million years ago.
